Top 5 Art and Design Apps on Android in Central America, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the art and design category on the Android platform in Central America showcased some intriguing trends across the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor saw a solid increase in both weekly downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads soared from about 125K in early July to a peak of 236K by late September. Similarly, active users grew steadily from approximately 2.3M to over 3M. Revenue also showed an upward trajectory, beginning at around $42K and reaching nearly $47K by the end of September.

AR Drawing - Sketchar App experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking at 98K at the start of July and maintaining a steady climb to 69K by mid-September. Active users increased from about 149K to 285K over the quarter, despite a decline in revenue, which peaked at $88 in mid-August before tapering off to negligible figures by the end of September.

ibis Paint X maintained a relatively consistent user base, with active users hovering around 650K to 690K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a downward trend, starting at 73K in early July and dropping to around 24K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar pattern, beginning at $781 and closing the quarter at approximately $970.

Future Self Face Aging Changer showed notable growth in downloads, rising from a modest start of 36 in early July to around 30K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this growth, starting at 3K and reaching over 105K. Revenue, while initially negligible, saw a slow increase, reaching $21 by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, AR Drawing: Sketch, Art, Trace experienced a peak in downloads at the start of the quarter with 58K, which then stabilized to around 23K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 82K in early August and ending the quarter at approximately 78K.
